CODEJUNKIES COM DS UPDATES CODE
But still, if you are a code creator, you really should have backup saves of your game. There are only 167 (359, in a decimal system instead of hex) objects, and loading the 168th (which doesn't exist) into a level screws up your copy of the game (even with the code off). There are only a few cases I know of where, without saving, loading a code will permanently corrupt your game. The worst one I know of, is using a code that allows you to load certain objects into the level in SM64DS. It really isn't too easy to corrupt your game, ESPECIALLY if you are only using the built-in codes that come with Action Replay. It's just a matter of knowing the game code, and knowing common sense. Sometimes the effect of the code is actually a side effect of what the code is REALLY doing, which may very well be deleting your hard earned save files. !!!Scrambled Eggs the Game Hacker!!!Īctually, if it does corrupt your save, it absolutely DOES have everything to do with saves. Be careful of codes made my novice hackers as well. The best way to guarantee not corrupting game files is to buy a separate memory card all together, since AR can corrupt ALL the data on a memory card, even files from different games. Sometimes certain codes you use (Even if it has NOTHING to do with save files) can jerk around the data that is sent to the memory card. Remember that AR screws with the systems RAM(The data that is currently loaded onto the system) to make the modifications. If you want to use an error-free AR, you have to be careful of which codes you use. As a safety precaution though I would recommend making a back-up save file before using any codes. While having any character I want is nice, having a corrupted game is not. If you don't have an EB Games and you REALLY DESPERATELY WANT IT, try Future Shop (Ugh)Ī word of warning: Do not use AR products if you value your game. Try EB games if you have one in your town. You can find it at a GOOD store (Not Zellers or Walmart). Where do you get the Action Replay V.3 for GBA and GBASP? Is there a website containing a database to AR MAX codes other than NTSC and PAL, JAP, specifically, *if anything*? Also, why did Datel remove that damn page full of japanese regional codes in their codejunkies page to begin with, anyway? To promote their isolation from Asia/inflate their already bruised ego?
